Fucking Comcast pulled a AT&T job on me. Scheduled an appoint (three actually, they canceled the two useless one's they made and didn't tell me about originally from agent fuck up) and then didn't call me like they are instructed to. I'm also wake in my room right next to the driveway. Got up early just in case so I could hear them pull up. So I've been sitting here for 3 hours and the guy had already marked the appointment as canceled because "Customer isn't home". AT&T actually left a notice on my front door when I was living in Sunnyvale saying they missed me. I was 3 feet away on the other side of the door watching TV on low volume. Never knocked, rang the door bell or tried to call. Fuckers really piss me off at times. Now I have to be home Friday morning to see if they do it again. I'll hunt them down if they do this shit again. There's another tech next door, I'm sure I could "convince" him to work on my line....

So I'm almost done with my 3 hour layover in NY JFK airport. Called people, got work done and now I've watched someone have a heart attack. Never a dull moment I suppose. Had a fun time this last week in FL with family. I'll try to post some of the crappy pics I took with my cellphone.

Since I forgot to post about this.... Yesterday I bought one of these. Certified so I still have two years on the warranty and all that. Over all, with the exception of the gas mileage I still consider it more practical than my Civic. And it's black of course. :)

So now that I can get my arm wet I decided to take a nice shower and shave everything that needs to be tended too. As a result of that and today I've noticed that my right knee is bruised and clicks more than usual. Hoping that my now daily Glucosamine doses will help with that. But I also noticed (while shaving my head since I took off the bandages) that my right elbow is swollen. If I hold my arms out straight and touch my fists together my left arm has a divet in the arm where the muscles join the elbow. My right arm doesn't. Curious how long that might last, but there definitely seems to be a decent amount of internal bruising on my arm near the damage. |

So I got stitches for the first time tonight. Generally was fun and semi-festive except for the "Thank you for not crying" lady that was just creepy. She freaked out over the camera too since I had ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} projectyellow with me to keep my boredom from getting me in trouble. :)Basically I was fighting with a dresser in the rain on a stairwell (it was raining and the dresser was covered in shrink wrap). End result was falling in slow motion backwards from three steps up while pushing the dresser away from me. I ended up landing on my right hand/elbow. Now it took me a couple minutes to know I was hurt, since it was then that Kyle pointed it out to me. After that it a quick hosing (I landed next to it!) and then paper towels and more shrink wrap on the arm to keep the blood at bay. At this point someone felt obligated to go to the store to get me medical supplies. So I proceeded to continue to move things to the truck (well duh). So once they had returned with the medical supplies (large bandaids and hydrogen peroxide) I went to the bathroom to "clean up". It was only then with a mirror that I could actually see the wound (backside of elbow, and no I didn't try to lick it). After showing it to everyone (they came by the bathroom) we decided I should get stitches. So I ended up getting 5 after being in ER for 2 hours. You can see some pics here. Forgot how much I like French rap... Also figured out how to make Vista not act like a gimp with broken legs while trying to copy things off of my NAS via SMB. Nice not having skipping in my music and my #1 core maxing all the time for no good reason. Even firefox is happier.

Heh... you know you're desensitized to porn when someone sends you a link to a picture of two naked girls in a garage and the thing you focus on is that they are rebuilding the rear-end of what I think is an old chevy or ford pickup truck. Guess based on rear brake drums, diff, axle tubes, hood cowl, mag rims and big block oil pan in the surrounding picture. There looks to be part of a 454 on a stand in the corner and you can barely see the edge of the leaf spring assembly at the bottom of the pic. Wish they'd included the car... :)
